How We Got Here

  • February 2009

    After a decade of automotive advertising experience working with dealers at Auto Trader, Shop a Dealer Magazine launched it’s first issue on Friday the 13th!😲

  • November 2014

    Rebranded as “Wheeler Dealer” the magazine becomes the largest FREE Automotive Classified in the Midwest. Added strategic digital partners to launch www.WheelerDealer360.com and other lead gen tools such as Craigslist Postings and Call Tracking Features to compliment the print product.

  • April 2017

    Always open and looking for new ways to help our dealers, we saw a tremendous growth opportunity in the Facebook platform. We built a team to focus on dealer ads solutions on Facebook and Instagram.

  • June 2018

    As more and more vehicle shoppers turn to online we wanted to help our dealers’ inventory “Stand Out!” We added a “walk around video” solution so dealers could shoot, produce, and publish videos of their vehicles to their websites and YouTube Channel in under 5 minutes using JUST their smartphone!

  • August 2019

    Printed our last issue of Wheeler Dealer 360 Magazine after our largest distribution outlet (Kroger) decided not to renew our display rack agreement. “In the middle of every obstacle lies opportunity, “ so this allowed us to shift our focus to digital and formed our “A-Team” here at WD360 by assembling the absolute best people and most skilled strategic partners all working towards helping our dealer clients become more profitable.

  • June 2020

    WD360 launches the “Marketing Command Center” for dealers. Auto Leads 360 was built to manage and nurture leads into high gross paying customers.

  • September 2020

    Marketplace becomes Facebook user’s “Go To” for vehicle shopping. Dealers needed HELP answering the leads so we added chat bot automation that checks vehicle availability, schedules test drives, and sends user info on the shopper directly into dealer CRM tools so they can quickly respond and sell more cars!
